Game Over!

He began mixing light green- meanwhile, his assistant was tuning the double bass to shooting. When the bristles of the paintbrush were dressed all in green, Uncle Larry turned to his assistant, "Is it set?"
Mr. Assistant nodded, "Yeah. I twisted together all four strings, because the bass strings weren't strong enough. With One String the double bass works even better."

Uncle Larry thanked and gripped his melodic weapon with his left hand. He placed the paint brush in its new string, and drew back the string. The lower note reverberated in the room.

Mr. Assistant shut his eyes and said in a low voice, "I'm ready, shoot it!"
Uncle Larry took a quick upward look, then aimed and let the arrow fly. A drop of green dripped as the arrow flew away. It touched a red Dino's egg and fell on the ground.

Mr. Assistant opened his eyes slowly, "What happened? You've failed?"
Uncle Larry sighed, "I'm really sorry. If I had a slingshot, I would hit it."
Mr. Assistant touched him on the shoulder, "Of course, you're the best. It's all Parmis's fault; shooting with a bass is impossible, plus the target isn't fixed."

Uncle Larry looked up at the roof, it was still descending. He picked up the paintbrush and went back to his weapon. Mr. Assistant looked so blue. "Shoot it!" he said in a mellow voice, covering his eyes with his hands.

Uncle Larry was ready for the next shot. First he drew a deep breath, then he pulled the string sharply, and aimed for the yellow egg, but it missed once again.

This time the paint brush brushed against a blue egg and lay on the floor. It was amazing that none of the eggs fell down!

"What happened? Don't tell me that you missed it again." Mr. Assistant asked with his closed eyes. Uncle Larry kept silent, he thought, "It's the bass fault, it plays only lower notes." In fact, nobody could fault the bass ; there was no improvement in his work.

Mr. Assistant took his hands off. He let out a cold shriek as his eyes fell on the bass, "Oh no, why?"

A flicker of guilt crossed Larry's face. He looked down at his feet and said, "I'm really sorry about the bass. I think the string wasn't strong enough. As I shot the arrow, it was broken."

Mr. Assistant exploded, "OMG, Game over. we've failed. We're losers. Now what happens?". He knelt down next to the bass, shaking like a leaf.

Uncle Larry replied, "I guess we have to fight with the Dinosaurs."
The assistant's face went pale, "OMG, help me, help me, we're going to die."

Uncle Larry looked slowly round the room; the candles were glimmering faintly, the Dino's eggs were shaking sharply, and the room was growing chilly. There was no time to lose, Uncle Larry had to shoot, but how?

He ran his right hand through his hair and said, "I wish I had a hairband or rubber band."
Suddenly the assistant jumped up, "A rubber band?"
Uncle Larry asked happily, "Yeah, do you have one?"

Don't worry, I'm good at shooting!

The Dino's eggs shook and the roof was lowered about ten inches. "So how to stop them?" Mr. Assistant asked as he began clapping. Uncle Larry looked puzzled, "I'm a little cold, too."
"No, I'm all right. In fact, I'm walking on air, because the TV commercial will be air in six minutes." Mr. Assistant said, laughing.
Uncle Larry stared at the ceiling, "At times I like to hit you. I'm suffocating in the room while you're floating on air," he let out a small sigh, "I wish I had a slingshot."
Mr. Assistant's eyebrows were raised, "A slingshot?"
Uncle Larry walked slowly toward the easel, he stood next to it and looked up at the unsteady eggs. suddenly, his eyes glittered with delight, as if that yellow egg had meant something to him. All the Dino's eggs were unmarked, apart from that one; the yellow egg was marked "7".
"Look, I see a lucky number over there." Uncle Larry shouted, pointing at the egg.
--, "Seven!!"
Uncle Larry nodded, "Yeah, I wish I had a slingshot, because we should shoot at the seven."
Mr. Assistant looked still confused, "Slingshot?       oh no, if you shoot at it, all the eggs will fall off."
---, "No, we will be lose, unless we shoot it down before the roof reaches over our heads."
__, "Game Over? oh no, can't you do it without a slingshot?"
Uncle Larry shook his head, "No, it seems that you know nothing about this game!" Then he shouted, "Pamris, couldn't you choose another game? you are behind the time."
Mr. Assistant's forehead wrinkled in a frown, "You mean that you shot at sparrows with a slingshot, don't you?"
__, "No, I love animals. "Dino's egg" means "Dynomite Deluxe" to me."
The colored eggs shook and the roof was lowered about ten inches once again.
Mr. Assistant began to blink constantly, tapping his Nexus flashlight on and off. " Hooray, the TV commercial will be air in two minutes." Mr. Assistant explained.
A bitter smile came to Uncle Larry's lips, he said, "Excellent! watch out, whirling's coming!" Uncle Larry had so happy memories of this game, a few years ago, he spent all his free time playing Dynomite Deluxe. He continued, "Dynomite Deluxe is an old computer game for Windows XP. Parmis calls it "DD". she loves DD a lot. By the way, Don't you like any video games?"

__, "No, it's a waste of time playing video games."
__, "That's right, I forgot you love TV ads."
The sound of the TV commercial resonated in Mr. Assistant's head, he grinned and waved, "Hi!"
__, "Are you okay?"
__, "Yeah, the program starts."
Uncle Larry shook his head sadly, it looked that Mr. Assistant was mad about TV commercials.
Uncle Larry gazed at his paintbrush for a while, it had never crossed his mind that a paintbrush could be his arrow. Just as he raised his hand to throw the paintbrush, the sound of music filled the air, and the bow of the double bass fell over.
Uncle Larry lowered his hand at once, and turned his attention to the double bass. It hit him that he could use the musical instrument as his weapon.
Uncle Larry walked toward the double bass. Mr. Assistant asked, "What do you have in mind?"
Uncle Larry replied, "Can I use the double bass as a slingshot?"
Mr. Assistant laughed, "It's out of question."
Uncle Larry leaned over and picked up the bow. He checked the bow carefully, and noticed the pure colors on it, "OMG, this is my palette then!" he said.
Mr. Assistant looked surprised, "Do you mean me?"
Uncle Larry pointed at the mirror, "Attention please!"
A grin spread across Mr. Assistant's face as he recalled Sergey. He turned to the mirror and stared at the Good Luck. The marker with which Parmis had written the message was Green.

Uncle Larry said, "Now it looks quite obvious, doesn't it? We have to paint "7" green by shooting the paintbrush at the yellow egg... Any question? So let's try, but we must move the double bass first."
Mr. Assistant lifted the double bass off the floor, and placed it under the marked egg, right beside the easel. As soon as the double bass was standing on the floor, the roof began descending at slow speed, while the colored eggs were shaking sharply.
Mr. Assistant cried, "OMG! Any minute now, the Dino's eggs are going to hatch."
Uncle Larry smiled, " Don't worry, we'll win."

Stay Hungry!

Mr. Assistant is really lovely. However, at that moment he was actually weary and hungry, his hands were like ice, too.

Mr. Assistant couldn't stand playing the Hide-and-Seek any more, he thought about being at home. That is why he lost his temper, he dropped his basket onto the floor, stamped, and shouted, "Hey, Hey! Open this door, Parmis. I miss home. Plus, I neither know how to sing nor dance.                Do you understand, Parmis? I won't  dance. Let me return home, my family must be worried about me."

Uncle Larry shouted at him, "Play it cool! It's nothing happened, we'll be home before long. You've taken the play very serious."

Mr. Assistant glowed with embarrassment, "I'm sorry, but I have no time for Hide-and-Seek. I have to leave right away; my popular TV commercial will start in twelve minutes."

Uncle Larry couldn't help laughing at him. Mr. Assistant narrowed his eyes at him, "Don't laugh, Larry. This is very serious. I love ads."

_, "Okay. Please calm down, everything will be OK. We'll leave here Soon."

Mr. Assistant cried, "Oh, Lord, help me.  Soon is too Late for me as I have no time," then he fired aimlessly, "Don't be Evil, Don't be Evil."

The unfriendly words missed Parmis, Swirled in the air, went up and up, then hit the ceiling. Crack!

A line appeared on the colored eggs. The flame of the candles began to dance. Mr. Assistant looked up and froze, his mouth dropping open.

Uncle Larry shook his head sadly, "You let me down. How could you say those terrible words. She's only a kid, don't be evil."

As the second crunching noise came from the ceiling, Uncle Larry started at the painted eggs which had covered the ceiling. Like icicle, bunches of eggs were hanging down from the high ceiling. To see the painted eggs which were as big as a soccer-ball was really a big surprise.

Mr. Assistant found his voice again, "Dino's eggs! I was not expecting a dinosaur."

The other crack appeared in the eggshells. Uncle Larry burst out laughing, "It seems that they're ready to hatch. Have you brought your umbrella? soon it will pour down Dino Rain."

The cracked eggs vibrated and moved closer to the floor. Although, Mr. Assistant frowned, Uncle Larry looked cool, as if nothing had happened. He said calmly, "It seems a little scary. How to stop them?"

Mr. Assistant sniffed the air, "OMG, I smell a bitten apple!"

Uncle Larry's forehead wrinkled in a frown, "Are you Okay?"

A wry smile crept over his face, "Of course. It's too cold, but I'm all right. I thought we were in Apple Inc the instant you asked that question."

_, "How do you mean?"

_, "Tell me how to drop an egg without it breaking? isn't this question familiar to you?" without waiting for Larry's answer, he resumed, "Everyone wants to work for Apple have to know the answer."

Uncle Larry laughed, "Wow, you have a good knowledge of Apple Inc, Excellent! While you smell the familiar smells, I can smell aliens."

Mr. Assistant looked so surprised, "What? Aliens?"

Uncle Larry, "Hmm...yeah... as I was riding down the hill in that giant apple, I came across an amazing robot, and many more questions began buzzing around in my head such as, Could Parmis make this by herself?   I didn't think so. At that point, I could smell Chat well. Next we were trapped into this this rabbit burrow, and I recalled Berlin Zoo and its rabbits---"

Mr. Assistant interrupted him, "Oh, Berlin Zoo, Martin, Sabine and Mino?"

Uncle Larry, "No, Please listen to me. After, one of the rabbits handed its sandwich to Sergey, he tried to like rabbits. Now he has a herd of rabbits. Parmis has a smart assistant."

__, "Mino?"

__, "No, it's very easy. Try to discover a link between the keywords."

Mr. Assistant tried to piece together the puzzle, then said with a laugh, "Now I know! Aliens, Robot, Chat and Rabbits, Sergey is here, isn't he?"

A sweet smile came to Uncle Larry's face, "Maybe, I'm not sure, but I'm certain he's contacted Parmis."

The painted eggs were still coming down. The assistant asked anxiously, " So how to stop them?"

Don't be Evil

Rabbit Burrow

The door led to a tunnel. That narrow tunnel was in complete darkness. At once Uncle Larry tapped the "Torch" icon to turn on his Nexus flashlight.

"Isn't it odd that there are no lights here?" Mr. Assistant asked, his eyes darting around like a frightened rabbit.
Uncle Larry laughed, "No, it's not. Parmis is mad about horror films."
_ "She's watching us now, isn't she?" the assistant asked as he turned on his Nexus flashlight.
Uncle Larry nodded his head, "Absolutely."
_ "You are an evil girl, Parmis." Mr. Assistant shouted loudly, making a face hidden camera.

They walked down that long tunnel in silence. Their footsteps echoed loudly on the bare metal floor. Although their flashlights were bright enough to find their way, Mr. Assistant was so frightened that his mind went blank, and he began to crack jokes about Apple, Yahoo, Amazon and Facebook. His jokes raised a big laugh, killed all those Micro-frights like a Soft drink and booted up his mind operating system again. He felt calm, as if he was at Google.

Then the tunnel forked in two direction. Left or Right? The men decided to split up. Uncle Larry took the right fork, and Mr. Assistant got into the left-hand passageway.

He walked tentatively down the tunnel with his basket, tapping his Nexus flashlight on and off. As he noticed a chink of light near the end of the tunnel, his heart began beating faster. A door was there, the wooden door was ajar.

Mr. Assistant stopped to peer into the room through the door. No one was there, a slow smile played on his lips. He tried to go in, but he couldn't. At that point, he felt a hand on his shoulder, Mr. Assistant quickly looked around and saw his friend there.

Uncle Larry smiled at him, "I'm sorry if I'm scared you," he resumed, "I found a room over there, it was locked though," he sniffed the air, "How odd! I can smell garlic, by the way, why don't you enter the room?"

Mr. Assistant replied, "The door is stuck, it seems that the garlic was heaped up behind the door... Can you lend a hand?"
Uncle Larry nodded quietly.
Then, Both men pushed the door with all their strength. As that huge pile of garlic flopped onto the floor, the door flew open and the garlic waft greeted them.

Snowy Room
The large square room was decorated with the winter color: Pure white. Like the clean snow, the garlic bulbs lay seven inches deep on the floor and rustled beneath their feet.

There was Parmis's Art workshop, the easel which was standing in the center of the snowy room showed this.

"So we've come here to paint. May you know how to draw a garlic bulb, " said the assistant, pointing at the easel. After a long sigh, he added, "I wish GD were here."
All at once the door crashed shut, a key turned in the lock of the door, and the room grew colder.
Uncle Larry laughed, "In my view, we are snowed in here together forever."

Mr. Assistant's eyes grew wide, "Oh no, I miss home."
Uncle Larry waved his magic wand, "Don't worry, guy. I have a paintbrush, so I'll paint a garlic bulb for you. Now tell me where the paints are."
Mr. Assistant shrugged, "I have no idea."

No palettes, No paints were there. Uncle Larry scanned quickly around: the art workshop was fully lit by the big candles which were on a long table. The table was leaning against the north wall of the room. Uncle Larry smiled at those forty three candles shining in the glass candle holders.

The golden glow of the candles were doubled by an enormous mirror on the opposite wall. There was a message in Parmis's handwriting: Good Luck!

On the east wall was a mural of spring. The west wall was hung with seven paintings of a snowman. Uncle Larry's eyes shifted from canvas to canvas, then drifted to the snowman made of the garlic bulbs.

The candles light glittered brightly on the snowman. Uncle Larry walked confidently towards it, next he removed a garlic bulb from the pile, and then another one, he continued in this way.

As the snowman melted, the Double Bass that Parmis had hidden under the stack of garlic was revealed.

A Double Bass!! The eyebrow arched up in a question. Mr. Assistant asked, "Then we've come here to play?"
Uncle Larry glanced at the paintbrush, "I don't think so."

Mr. Assistant looked slowly round the room: the burning candles, snowy garlic, locked door, and giant violin smirked at him. Uncle Larry giggled, "It's so cold- I think it's going to snow."
The assistant cried, "I don't let her snow me with promising wonderful stories."

Mr. Assistant is really lovely. However, at that moment he was actually weary and hungry, his hands were like ice, Mr. Assistant couldn't stand playing "Hide-and-Seek" any more, he thought about being at home, that is why he lost his temper, dropped his basket onto the floor, stamped, and shouted, "Hey, Hey! Open this door, I miss home. Plus, I neither know how to sing nor know how to dance.    Do you understand, Parmis? I won't  dance. Let me return home, my family must be worried about me, " finally he fired aimlessly, "Don't be Evil, Don't be Evil!"

Don't be EVIL! These words missed Parmis, swirled around the assistant, went higher and higher, until they hit the ceiling. Crack!
A line appeared on the colored eggs, the flame of candles began to dance.
Mr. Assistant looked up and froze, his mouth dropping open.

Uncle Larry didn't notice what happened, he thought about the double bass. Then the second crunching noise came from the ceiling, and made him look up.
